TESTIMONIALS

Following her Health Coach's advice and the information she received from Gordian, Sharon lost 18 pounds.

The program motivated Sharon to begin a fitness regimen that includes swimming and water aerobics.

Sharon knows the importance of a healthy heart. She works with cardiac rehabilitation patients for a living, and has seen the negative and often devastating effects of heart disease firsthand. So when Sharon's weight put her at risk for developing heart disease, she knew she had to do something before she became a patient herself.

Sharon decided to get the help she needed by participating in her employer's Get Healthy program. She called Gordian and spoke with a Health Coach, Amber, who motivated Sharon to begin a fitness regimen that includes swimming and water aerobics at the YMCA. In addition, she now exercises on a treadmill, bike and step machine for 30 minutes each, five times a week. Now that's dedication!

Amber also helped Sharon identify unhealthy habits, and offered Sharon the education and guidance she needed to make healthy changes, such as choosing grilled instead of fried foods and limiting sweets.

Losing even as few as 10 pounds can lower a person's risk of heart disease. Following the advice of her Health Coach and the information she received in her targeted health education mailings, Sharon lost 18 pounds. But it is not all about the pounds; as Sharon says, she just "feels much better." Sharon has made some great progress, but it is the long-lasting lifestyle changes she is making that will help her continue to reach her goals.
